Now, thanks to 24 hour news networks and YouTube, we Americans are bombarded with debate after debate after debate by presidential candidates preening for the cameras.
Last night I watched part of the CNN/YouTube Republican debates and I wanted to barf. The questions came in the form of videos from YouTube members. One question wasn't even a question, it was a two-minute forum for some jerk to sing a folk-song. I'm sure it will be splayed all over the Internet tomorrow.
The real problem with these debates is that we have a hard time telling who is who and what each of the candidates stand for and who supports them.
Since we live in a corporatocracy where most of the politicians are in the pockets of large corporations, we should adapt identifiers from other areas where corporate sponsorship has been a way of life for years.
